Ms. Carr has been designing and leading environmental data management efforts since the early nineties and has been a guiding force in Locus’s recent phenomenal success. She has been the key customer manager on all of Locus’s Fortune 500 LocusFocus Environmental Management System™ (EIM™) enterprise deployments . Ms. Carr’s environmental domain expertise and customer focus have resulted in new, and repeat, customers and continued growth for Locus’s Information Management Group.
“We are very pleased to fill this important new position in Locus from within. Marian has taken her vast environmental and software industry experience and helped make Locus the success it is today. Her promotion is well-deserved and coincides with both our 10‑year anniversary and our launch of ePortal, the environmental industries’ most advanced and comprehensive environmental management portal,” says Neno Duplancic, President and CEO of Locus.
Ms. Carr’s expertise in environmental information management, combined with Locus’s visionary leadership, will help Locus to continue to drive the environmental compliance industry transformation to hosted web-based solutions, enabling customers to drive more value with less investment.
“In the past three years, the corporate environmental function has come under new scrutiny, and customers increasingly understand that technology is a critical component of operational excellence and true business process improvement. The domain of environmental information management is ripe for automation and transformation, away from traditionally manual processes into highly efficient ones. I am extremely pleased to be part of Locus, the company leading the transformation throughout the environmental software sector,” said Ms. Marian Carr.
