LP Top Enhancements and Features in 2024
Let’s look back on the most exciting new features added to Locus Platform during 2024!
1. Refrigerant Management Application
Air conditioning and refrigeration equipment are among the biggest consumers of electricity, and the refrigerants they use are some of the biggest contributors to global warming. Locus Refrigerant Management is a purpose-built app within Locus EHS software platform that flexes to evolving regulations and simplifies how facility managers, HVAC technicians, environmental analysts, and contractors fulfill an organization’s refrigerant plan.
The application allows you to:
- Keep track of Appliances, their location and status, refrigerants used in them as well as CO2e emissions.
- Track Refrigerant Purchases and Disposals.
- Maintain Refrigerant Inventory records.
- Schedule and track Service Requests with key information such as: Appliance, Date Completed, Technician, Appliance Details, Type of Service, etc.
2. Alternate Hierarchies
Large organizations often times require various hierarchies to roll-up and aggregate data for various EHS reporting requirements. Alternate Hierarchies is a brand-new feature in Locus Platform that allows Admins to create new hierarchies or update existing ones with an easy to use drag-and-drop interface.
Users can create new hierarchies by copying an existing hierarchy and making modifications based on organizational changes or create new ones from scratch by selecting appropriate entities and records within them. Hierarchies are associated with various Applications and also have Start and End Dates to keep track over time.
3. Multi-Language Support
Locus Platform now supports multiple languages, making it easy for Global access and adaptation in large multinational organizations. Admins can easily upload one or more language translations files in a simple Microsoft Excel format and have various languages available for the users to select from. The language selection is conveniently placed on the login page:
Currently, Locus Platform supports original translated names for Menus Bars, Applications, Entities, Screens, Dashboards, Reports, Portlets, and Pages.
4. Location Selector
Users can now select a specific location for their user session using the Location Bar shown below. Entity views can be setup to auto-filter by this Location and only show records for that location. This will help the user easily find, add and/or update records in various entities for that specific location. The feature also allows auto-filling Location/Facility value in any new records that the user wants to add, reducing the number of clicks.
The dropdown list of locations can be tailored to only show locations the user has access to based on the Site Security settings.
5. Complex Filters in Entity Views
Entity views are even more powerful now with the enhancements in the filter setup. Users can add multiple filters on views with both AND and OR conditions.
