Environmental Technologist

Position Details

Apply knowledge of environmental engineering to assist in the development of engineering programs for waste treatment and site remediation, under the direction of engineering staff or scientists. Use knowledge of Bioremediation, treatment of water quality, wastewater, and fluid mechanics to provide technical engineering support in the planning of projects, such as wastewater treatment, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies. Use knowledge of JDBC and APIS to review technical documents to ensure completeness and conformance to requirements. Use knowledge of R and Python to maintain project logbook records and computer program files. Use knowledge of GIS, Data Mining and Visualization to produce environmental assessment reports, tabulating data and preparing charts, and graphs. Use knowledge of Probabilistic methods, Probabilistic models, and Engineering Risk Analysis to create models to demonstrate and predict the process by which pollutants move through or impact the environment. Local travel to various unanticipated client sites within the geographic area 2-4 times per year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Bioremediation, treatment of water quality, wastewater, and fluid mechanics.
  • Knowledge of JDBC and APIS.
  • Knowledge of R and Python.

    SQL Server Database Developer (D4)

    Position Details

    Requirements

    Must have at least 2 years of experience with:

    • Database tuning, monitoring, and query optimization
    • Creating and modifying tables, views, and functions
    • Developing stored procedures and using dynamic SQL
    • Report writing best practices
    • Importing data into SQL databases
    • Developing and implementing database security policies
    • Using SQL data warehouses
    • Keeping objects and schemas consistent across multiple databases and servers
    • Knowledge of SQL Spatial Objects not required, but preferred
