eClass: Locus EIM – COC Basics
March 13 @ 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. PDT
Would you like to use EIM to record the analyses you’ve requested from labs but aren’t sure where to start? Our customizable Chain of Custody (COC) form can help you create a printable list of requested analyses that can travel along with your samples while also adding field sample IDs in EIM that can be associated with analytical results and field measurements after the work has been completed. This useful eClass will give you the tools to create draft COCs that can be finalized with actual sample information collected in the field.
In this class, we will:
- Provide a checklist that will help you prepare to create your COC
- Create a draft COC for new field samples
- Add field samples and analyses to a finalized COC
- Combine existing field samples in a new COC
