EIM: GIS & GIS+

Locus eClass

This eClass will give an introduction to GIS and our newly implemented premium web mapping service, GIS+. Attendees will benefit from learning how to create maps in GIS+ using your own map layers or importing basemaps from Esri. In addition, we will explore cartographic options, including a catalog of industry-specific symbols, an interactive histogram for data queries, and how to create multiple data layers for analysis.

EIM: Analysis > Trends (Express Training Session)

Locus Express Training

This Express Training session is geared towards all EIM users who may analyze data. Attendees will benefit from having a basic understanding of EIM. This session will focus on evaluating and analyze data maintained within EIM. During the training session, you will learn: how to run a Mann-Kendall test for trends and compare parameter or groundwater values between two sampling events. Topics covered in this session can be found in EIM’s Analysis > Trends menu.

EIM: Discharge Monitoring Reports

This eClass will lead you through the process of creating a discharge monitoring report (DMR) in EIM. Attendees will benefit from having a basic understanding of DMR. The steps to define synonym lists, create and manage permits, and create and manage DMRs will be shown during the eClass.

WM Symposia Waste Management Conference

Locus is co-presenting a technical poster session with our customer Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) on the new Waste Decision Summary (WDS) module in Locus EIM. The WDS module provides a step based review of analytical results to support waste disposal decisions for a wide range of liquid and solid wastes. Simplified UI coupled with multiple pre-formatted report outputs guide users through the complex analytical results and rules to produce technically accurate summaries visually enhanced for ease of review. NAEM 2017 EHS&S and Sustainability Software Conference

The 2017 NAEM EHS and Sustainability Software Conference will be held at the Westin Galleria Houston in Houston, Texas on March 6-8, 2017. This conference has been the premier software event designed to meet the needs of corporate EHS and sustainability leaders. Locus is proud to be a sponsor of this conference. Locus representatives Jennifer Peterson, Neno Duplan, and Elaine Church will be exhibiting at Booth #109. EIM: Project Manager – Console Setup & System Metrics (Express Training Session)

Locus Express Training

This Express Training session is geared towards all EIM users who may analyze data. Attendees will benefit from having a basic understanding of EIM. This session will focus on providing Project Managers with the most benefit using EIM tools. During the training session, attendees will learn how to populate the Project Manager Console with quick reports, charts, and quick GIS maps. Additionally, Project Managers will learn how to review system metrics. Topics covered in this session focus on Project Manager Console setup and metric available on the Project Manager Console.

EIM: Query Builder Tool

Locus eClass

This eClass will give an introduction to the new Query Builder feature in EIM. Attendees will benefit from learning how to create custom database queries in EIM using the Query Builder interface which lets users build, run, and save SQL queries through a graphical “drag and drop” interface as well as by typing SQL text directly.

EIM: System Notification Management (Express Training Session)

Locus Express Training

This Express Training session is geared towards EIM administrators, but all users levels are welcome. This session will focus on providing notifications to users via EIM’s Setup > Site Management menu. During the training session, attendees will learn about the different types of notifications available in EIM (data inserts and exceedances), how to set notifications up, and how to designate different users to receive notifications.
